Congratulations to Professor Anne-Marie Eades on being appointed as Professor of Nursing, in Nursing Education and Research, marking a milestone as the first Indigenous person to hold this role at Curtin.

Professor Eades is a Noongar (Minang/Kaneang) woman from Western Australia’s South West, a Curtin alumna and has dedicated her career to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people.

Professor Eades commenced her new role on 1 October, bringing to Curtin her extensive expertise and commitment to fostering diversity and excellence in healthcare.
