Professor Patrick Dunlop Co-Chairs APS 15th Industrial and Organisational Psychology Conference
Congratulations to Professor Patrick Dunlop from the Future of Work Institute for successfully co-chairing the Australian Psychological Society’s (APS) 15th Industrial and Organisational Psychology Conference (#IOP2024).
This prestigious three-day event brought 400 leading academics and industry professionals together from around the world to share insights, explore the latest trends and engage with cutting-edge research in industrial and organisational psychology.
In addition to co-chairing the conference, Professor Dunlop contributed to several discussions on the application, challenges and future developments of Artificial Intelligence in the recruitment and selection process.
Researchers and PhD students from the Future of Work Institute also played a key role, contributing their expertise through 15 presentations and symposia covering a wide range of topics, including recruitment and selection, workplace motivation, worker wellbeing and occupational stress.
A notable highlight was a keynote address by John Curtin Distinguished Professor Marylène Gagné, who shared her insights on the future of compensation from a motivational perspective.
