Dr Rebecca Handcock has been selected as one of five national finalists for Data Leader of the Year at the 2025 Women in Digital Awards.

The awards celebrate excellence across Australia’s digital industries, with this particular award recognising an individual who has built a revolutionary data-centric program while helping to guide it to outstanding achievement through vision, inspiration, creativity and commitment.

Dr Handcock’s recognition highlights the impact of her work through the Curtin Open Knowledge Initiative (COKI) and Curtin Institute for Data Science (CIDS). Congratulations to Dr Handcock on being recognised on such a significant national stage.
