SheLeads program students visit CCIWA
Students from the Faculty of Business and Law’s SheLeads, a women’s leadership program for higher achievers, visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA (CCIWA) on 2 July to meet with leaders from across the organisation.
CCIWA’s Tracy Al Saidi, People and Culture Director and Curtin Advisory Board Member; Cass Wright, Business Law Director; Jen Wan-Ward, Marketing and Content Manager; Nora Saaid, Member Engagement Manager; and Elizabeth Briggs, General Counsel, met with students to discuss a range of topics from the challenges of work-life balance, authentic leadership, diversity challenges and the value of personal reflection.
“It was such a privilege to be a part of the discussions today and listening to the experiences Cass, Jen, Liz, Nora and Tracy who are incredible leaders and professionals in their field. I learned so much from their wisdom,” Darcie Pisikas, SheLeads participant.
“I left absolutely inspired and felt so privileged to have the time to talk to a group of amazing women as they navigate their careers,” Cass Wright, Business Law Director CCIWA.
A special thank you to SheLeads Program Coordinator, Jenna Dawson.
