Curtin staff, students and community partners recently came together at the Student Success Sundowner to celebrate the people and partnerships that have shaped student life this year.

The evening featured reflections and highlights from participants of Student Success programs and initiatives, including the Social Impact Hub’s inaugural Design Jam, the Career Accelerator Program and Recruit Curtin’s Earn While You Learn initiative.

Curtin Careers’ efforts this year in embedding Career Development Learning into curriculum was an equal highlight, with academic staff emphasising the valuable application to their units and the positive student feedback they’ve received.

A big thank you to Dr Alan McAlpine, Deputy Director of Student Success, Gabriel Chua, Student Success Events Officer, Myles Ikin, Social Impact Hub Assistant, and everyone else involved with the event. Thank you as well to those involved in coordinating the numerous Student Success programs and initiatives throughout the year.
