Curtin’s inaugural Giving Day was a vibrant celebration of connection and generosity, with more than 800 students, staff and community members joining in. From yoga with therapy dogs and creative volunteering to live portraits, games and giveaways, the campus came alive with activities that inspired support for the Curtin Cares About Students Equity Scholarship and Student Professional Development Grants.

The day was powered by the passion and creativity of our community, with contributions from Because They Dare ambassadors, Curtin Makerspace, Curtin Volunteers!, Curtin Yoga Club and Curtin Games and Esports Club, as well as alumni partners Dal Studios and Pretzel, Delta Dogs and Matt Taylor – the alumni artist behind the merchandise. Together, they ensured student, staff and alumni voices shaped the event at every stage.

A special thank you to the 100+ staff and students who registered for activities and the 284 individuals who chose to give on the day – most of them students giving back to their peers. This generosity reflects the true spirit of Curtin: working together to create positive change for our community.
