Despite the threat of rain, our talented students and staff put on a fantastic show at Curtin’s Talent 4 Tomorrow Grand Finale at the Atkinson Forum on Wednesday, 7 August. Now in its second year, the competition featured performances from singers, rappers, dancers and bands, all cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd.

The University Choice Award went to guitar duo, Sidhu & Alex (Aman Sidhu and Nishil Alex), who won $1,000 and will receive up to $10,000 in paid performance opportunities including performing as the finale act at the 2025 Bunuru and Djilba graduation ceremonies. The People’s Choice Award saw singer and guitarist Iman Razak as the overall winner, with solo singer and musician KOPANO the first runner up and Sidhu & Alex second runner up. A special shout out to our staff performers Jemma Bradford (KOPANO) and singer-songwriter Tristan Balz.

Thank you to the teams from University Events, Curtin Connect and Digital Student Engagement as well as the hardworking staff who contributed to making this event a success including Megan Jenkinson, Athina Hilman, Louise Wright, Pauline Tay, Charlotte Selby-Fullgrabe, Joaquin Atizado, Ryan Kirby, Joanna Dutosme, Christina Ryan and Becky Chong.
