The Faculty of Health Sciences recently celebrated the outstanding achievements of its researchers at the 2025 Research and Pitch Your Project Awards. The event recognised excellence, innovation and collaboration across a wide range of research areas.
Research Award winners

- Researcher of the Year: Professor Mario Siervo, School of Population Health
- Mid-Career Researcher of the Year: Associate Professor Elissa Burton, School of Allied Health
- Early Career Researcher of the Year: Dr Shelley Walker, National Drug Research Institute
- Inclusive and Consumer Oriented: Professor Lauren Breen, School of Population Health
