Who does AWMS apply to?

The AWMS applies to school-based and the Centre for Aboriginal Studies continuing and fixed-term academic staff engaged in teaching, learning and research.

The workloads of other academic staff who are based in faculties, research centres and central academic support agencies, whose principal duties do not comprise teaching, learning, scholarship and research (for example, staff engaged principally in academic leadership or academic support) do not have their workloads set through the AWMS.

What if I don't agree with my workload?

Where a staff member disagrees with their allocation, they are responsible for raising their concerns initially with the Head of School to resolve the matter. An academic staff member who is dissatisfied with their academic workload may seek a review by the Pro-Vice Chancellor.
