iSoTL Enrich

Enrich is about understanding the principles of iSoTL (Felton 2013) in order to engage with iSoTL literature in relation to your discipline and higher education. It is about moving toward iSoTL Leadership by engaging in research around curriculum design and pedagogy in order to measure impact within a local context (Bernstein 2018). You will learn about the educational research process and what is required, and engage in a teaching and learning research project and measure the impact on learners. Enrich is about adding rigour to your teaching practice and having that practice reviewed by peers.

iSoTL Enrich Steps

Stage 1: You will extend your knowledge of the principles of iSoTL by evaluating iSoTL design processes and scholarship methods. Stage 2: You will apply a relevant design process and scholarly methods to a research project in your disciplinary area. Stage 3: The outcomes of your iSoTL research will be disseminated to your peers in the form of a conference, seminar, or Summative Peer Review.
